Harold Allen was born June 25, 1922 in Cleveland, Ohio and died on April 5, 2007 in Yuma, Ariz. Mr. Allen was a U.S. Navy veteran and long time resident of Lake County.
He owned auto repair businesses in Palo Alto and Kelseyville, as well as a local real estate brokerage.
He is survived by his wife of 65 years, Nellie Allen; daughter, Barbara Reed; son-in-law, Douglas Reed; grandchildren, Douglas and his wife Jackie, James and his wife Jenny Reed; three great-grandchildren; numerous Brother and sisters-in-law; and many nieces and nephews.
A memorial service will be held at 2 p.m. Saturday, April 28 at Jones Mortuary, 115 S. Main St. in Lakeport.
In lieu of flowers, the family requests memorials be sent to charities of the donors choice.
