LAKE COUNTY — Sign-ups for the 2007 Konocti Youth Soccer League season take place today in Lakeport.
Sign-ups today for players between the ages of 4-16 will be held from 6 p.m. to 8 p.m. at the Terrace Middle School cafeteria in Lakeport.
Last-chance sign-ups will be held June 20 from 6 p.m. to 8 p.m. at Mendo-Lake Credit Union in Lakeport.
Fees for the 2007 season are $30 for the first child in a family and $25 for each additional child in the same family. Payment is due when registering. If you sign up after June 20 (and there is room on a team), you must pay a mandatory additional charge of $15 per player.
Uniforms will be solid during the sign-ups. A complete new uniform (shirt, shorts and socks) costs $30. Shirts cost $20, shorts $10 and socks $5.
Players who did not participate during the 2006 season are required to bring a certified copy of their birth certificate to the sign-ups.
The KYSL also needs coaches, referees, volunteers and team sponsors. Sponsor fees are $250 for new sponsors and $150 for returning sponsors.
