Margaret L. Crawford passed away on Friday May 4, 2007. She was born in Shiloh, Tenn., June 17, 1931 to Manford and Elsie Curtis. She met her husband, Raymond A. Crawford, in Rifle, Colo., where they lived then eventually moved to California. He was a general contractor in Sebastopol, and preceded her in death in 1987.

Besides being a mother, grandmother, sister, aunt and caretaker to many children through out her life she also worked as a tax preparer, real estate agent, bookkeeper and notary public. She was also an expert at contract law.

She is survived by her daughter, Linda Holloway; son, Noah Halcomb; daughter, Kelly Chandler (Kevin); son, Curtis Crawford; two brothers, Jim Bishop (Jackie), and Fred Bishop (Elsie) both of Grand Junction, Colo. Her brother Manford Curtis (Theresa) preceded her in death. She was blessed with five grandsons, Jared Hill, Jason Hill, Joey Crawford, Josh Crawford and Davis Chandler; three great-grandchildren, Jayd Hill, Jarrett Hill and Jordan Hill; and many nieces, nephews, cousins and friends.

Her smile will be missed by all who knew and loved her.

A private memorial service is planned for close friends and family.
