Jan passed away peacefully at home Tuesday, with her loving husband of 40 years by her side, after a courageous battle with cancer.
Jan was raised and preceded in death by her parents Floyd and Mamie Baldwin. She grew up in Lake County, graduating from Clear Lake High School and then continued on to raise her six children here.
Jan was known for her beautiful smile and happy go lucky personality. She enjoyed spending as much time with her family as she could, including cheering on her sons and grandsons throughout many years of passing the finish line at the local raceway. She loved being a part of all of her grandchildren”s achievements and sporting events. She also took great joy in camping at the coast, the many traditional family “Nutt House” barbecues and celebrating holidays. Anything that brought all of her family together is what she lived for.
Jan is survived by her devoted and loving husband, Bill Bostick; brothers and sister, Gary Baldwin, Bob Baldwin and Evonne Kennedy; sons, Richard, Jimmy and Larry Knight; daughters, Debbie Nutt, Debbie Reynolds and Linda Shields; grandchildren (which we must list all, because grandma was always fair and “nobody was left out”), Richard Knight Jr., Brian Knight, Yolanda Blocher, Adriane Knight, Patricia Knight, Michael Knight, Melissa Weisman, Melinda Weisman, Dustin Knight, Darrin Knight, Jennifer Taylor, Stephanie Nutt, Kristine Nutt, Shonda Somers, Julie Reynolds, Tony Reynolds, Kayla Shields and Kendra Shields; great-granchildren, Gage Taylor, Tanner Cole, Jaden, Kaleb and Ashlynne Knight, Hannah Blocher, Nathan Somers, Hailey and Devan Weisman, and the circle of life continues with three more on the way.
We will forever treasure your beautiful smile and loving heart.
Graveside services will be held at 11 a.m. Saturday, May 26 at Hartley Cemetery following with a celebration of life at the Nutt”s house, 1493 Sandy Lane, Lakeport, Ca 95453.
