Mickey A. McLeod passed away May 7, 2007, at the age of 84, in Lakeport.
He was born Aug. 10, 1922 to Clinton Ward McLeod and Esther Cameron McLeod in Spokane, Wash.
Mickey married his wife of 61 years, Beverly Sanders McLeod in 1944 in San Diego. They moved to Lake County in 1945. He taught school at Terrace Middle School in Lakeport for 25 years. Mickey was active in the church and loved the Lord.
He is survived by three sons, Clinton (Shelly) McLeod of Longmont, Colo., Michael (Lana) McLeod of Longmont, Colo., and Bruce (Patty) McLeod of Lakeport. He also leaves his brother, Denny A. (Ruthie) McLeod of Piedmont; and numerous grandchildren, great-grandchildren, nieces, and nephews.
Private family services will be held on Monday, May 21 at Jones Mortuary.
