The Lake Community PRIDE Foundation has announced that there is still space available for craft people at the 2007 Clear Lake Jazz Festival, to be held on Father”s Day, Sunday, June 17, at Ployez Winery in Lower Lake .
This year a special free reception will be held to showcase all crafts from 11 a.m. to 12:30 p.m. There will be hors d”oeuvres courtesy of Safeway and Bruno”s along with Mike Thompson”s wines, served free of charge to all paid admissions.
Stella”s Sauces and Marinades will be in charge of the reception. Background music will be played and the craft items will be available to the public to view and purchase throughout the festival.
All crafts persons will be located outside this year. Ployez Winery prefers set-up the day prior. Call Jeriel Franzel at 994-0461 for applications.
This one-day affair will feature musicians from Lake County including Bill Noteman and the Rockets, the Kelseyville High School Jazz Combo under the direction of Hamed Hokamazadeh as well as musicians from the Bay Area. Mark Prendiville of KFC with his young Lake County employees will honor the event for the second year with the sale of food and soft drinks. Wines from Ployez Winery will be featured.
