NORTH MAIN ST. — Intermittent road work North Main Street beginning at Sixth Street to Clear Lake Avenue starting on Tuesday, May 29, between the hours of 7 a.m. and 4:30 p.m. Please use alternate routes when construction activities are in progress. GADDY LANE — Commencing on May 29 and continuing until June 29 construction activities associated with roadway paving will be taking place on Gaddy Lane from Soda Bay Road to Clark Drive. Construction will be during the hours of 7 a.m. to 5:30 p.m. Monday through Friday excluding holidays. Single lane closure during construction operations will be necessary with delays up to 15 minutes. Full width of the traveled way shall be open for use by the traveling public on Saturdays, Sundays, legal holidays, and when construction operations are not actively in progress. Please drive with caution in these areas.
Caltrans road work
WORK SUSPENDED — Caltrans will suspend work on Northern California highways from noon Friday, May 25, through Monday May 28 in observance of the Memorial Day weekend. It may, however, be necessary for Caltrans Maintenance forces to respond to emergency situations.
ROUTE 20 — A roadway realignment project from 1.4 miles east of the North Fork Cache Creek Bridge to 1.6 miles west of Walker Ridge Road will continue. Work hours are 6:30 a.m. to 6:30 p.m. weekdays. One-way traffic control will be in effect. Motorists should anticipate 20-minute delays.
ROUTE 53 — Routine maintenance from 40th Avenue to the junction of Route 20/53 beginning Tuesday, May 29. Work hours are 8:30 a.m. to 3:30 p.m. weekdays. One-way traffic control will be in effect. Motorists should anticipate 10-minute delays.
Please keep in mind work on all these projects is weather permitting nd subject to change. Drive with caution when approaching work areas and to be prepared to stop at traffic control stations.
