UKIAH — Jeremy Nowlin won the modified main event in front of Clay Caturegli as the King of the Hill point series between drivers at the Lakeport and Ukiah speedways continued on Saturday at the Ukiah Fairgrounds.

Other feature winners on Saturday were Terry Pittman in the bonus bomber division, George Abella in the bomber class, Kyle Tellstrom in the bandoleros division, and Shane Golobic in the BCRA midgets competition.

Modifieds

Nowlin and Caturegli took the checkered flag 1-2 in the modified main. Codi Barba finished third, Scott Feil was fourth, Derrick Crayford came in fifth and modified points leader Terry McIntire was sixth.

Barba and Noel McCormack Jr. won the heat races, Steve Taylor captured the trophy dash and Ron Connor set the fast time (13.335 seconds).

Bonus bombers

Pittman took the checkered flag in the bonus bomber feature ahead of Bill Mucci, points leader Andy Vanderveer, Casey Sanders and Jared Martin.

George Mavrakis won the only heat race, Keith Nelson won the trophy dash and Vanderveer set the fast time (14.757).

Bombers

Abella”s victory in the bomber main came in front of divisional points leader Ron Duke Jr., Jerry Wilkins, Shelby Helm and Jimmy Sorrels.

Jerry Crapo won the B-main event and heat winners were Duke Jr., Sorrels and Zach Jenkins.

Duke Jr. topped the field in the trophy dash and Helm was the fast qualifier (15.776).

Bandoleros

Points leader Tellstrom won the feature race in front of Darrin Silva, Brenton Smith, Jay Cee McLean and trophy dash winner Drew Smith, who also set the fast time (15.670).

BCRA midgets

Golobic won the BCRA main event, beating Paul Zimmerly, Levi Roberts, David Pricket and Michael Binswanger to the finish line.

Pricket and Justin Melton were the heat winners and Zimmerly finished first in the trophy dash. Justin Grant was the fast qualifier (12.180).
