Allen Grant Dutcher passed away suddenly Feb. 11, 2007 in Bandon, Ore. He was born on July 29, 1967 in Lakeport. Grant graduated from Upper Lake High School in 1985 and went on to serve in the Army. His last nine years were spent in Bandon, where he worked as a caddie at Bandon Dunes as well as working on crab boats off the Oregon coast.
Grant is survived by his parents, Mark and Cindy Dutcher, Cathi and Jon Vining, and Sandra Hickman; daughter, Rhiana; son, Dustin; brothers, Kurt Dutcher, Justin Dutcher, and Nathan Vining; grandfather, Wray Dutcher; grandmother, Patricia Soudan; aunt, Laura; uncle, Marty; and seven cousins.
A celebration of Grant”s life will be held at 11 a.m. Saturday, June 16, 2007 at the Upper Lake Community Park. Family and friends are welcome.
