LAKE COUNTY — The Lake County Sheriff”s Activities League Junior Giants baseball program in Lake County begins July 7 at the Kelseyville Little League fields in Kelseyville. Boys and girls ages 8-13 and of all talent levels are welcome to participate.
There is no fee to participate and all players receive a San Francisco Giants baseball cap and a Junior Giants T-shirt.
Sign-ups will be held Saturday from 9 a.m. to 11 a.m. at the Kelseyville Presbyterian Church Youth Center, located at Church and Third streets in Kelseyville, and from noon to 2 p.m. at Bruno”s Foods in Lakeport.
Junior Giants baseball is a recreational program and focuses on teaching values such as teamwork, sportsmanship, confidence and leadership.
