When I heard that the prestigious Sunset Magazine was doing an article on Lake County, I was thrilled. As I read the article, I became appalled at Ms. Wolf”s statement that Jim Fetzer had purchased 163 acres of prime lakefront property in the “not so nice town of Nice.”
My husband and I have traveled to many counties around the world, and we”ve always been anxious and grateful to get back to our wonderful home on the beautiful shore of Nice. Nice has so much to offer besides the beautiful Ceago and Tulip Hill Wineries. There is Wine Country Clear Lake, WorldMark Timeshare, the picturesque Featherbed Railroad, and now, Robinson Casino is offering live celebrity entertainment. It doesn”t get any better than this, folks. As a 20-plus year resident here, I consider it an honor to live in “not so nice Nice.”
