Richard L. Gunderson, born on Feb. 20, 1951 in Klamath Falls, Ore., passed away at home surrounded by his loving family on June 27, 2007. Ric lived in Clearlake for the past 12 years, formerly of Vallejo. He was employed with the Labor Union for 30 years as a cement finisher.
Ric spent the past six years actively involved with N.A., where he made a great impact on many lives.
Ric was an avid S.F. Giants and 49er fan, fisherman and he grew up water skiing competitively on Clear Lake.
He is survived by his loving mother, Dorothy Miller; brother, Scott Miller; and sisters, Carol Ellis (Steve), Joy Scarrott, and Norma Miller (Roger).
He was preceded in death by his father, Richard Gunderson; and step-father, Norman Miller.
Ric was adored by his family, including his many nieces and nephews, and special friends Debbie and Alexandra Taber. His family and many friends will miss his contagious smile, laughter, outgoing personality, and true love of life.
A memorial service will be held at 5:30 p.m. Monday July 2 at Jones and Lewis Clear Lake Memorial Chapel, 16140 Main St., Lower Lake.
In lieu of flowers, donations may be made to Lower Lake United Methodist Church in Ric”s memory.
