Helen Mattina of Clearlake passed away on June 28, 2007, at the age of 70.

She is survived by her children, Deborah Austin of Clearlake and Pamela Dooley of Middletown; sons-in-law, Robert and Raymond; grandchildren, Jason and his wife, Ashley, Jennifer and her husband, Matthew, Timothy, Brian, Kevin, Brittany and Emily; great-grandchildren, Conner and Nathen; sister, Patricia and her husband Ronald Sumner; and many nieces and nephews.

Helen was a great gardener who loved flowers, and she also enjoyed sewing. She loved her collection of porcelain dolls. Above all else, Helen enjoyed spending time with her grandchildren and her dog, Brandy.

Visiting hours will be from 4 to 8 p.m. Thursday, July 5 at Jones and Lewis Clear Lake Memorial Chapel, 16140 Main St. Lower Lake. A vigil service will be held at 7 p.m. A funeral Mass will be held at 10 a.m. Friday, July 6 at Queen of Peace Catholic Church, 14405 Uhl Ave. in Clearlake, with a committal service to follow at Lower Lake Cemetery in Lower Lake. Family requests any donations be made to Hospice Services of Lake County.
