A native of Lakeport, Joyce was born Sept. 28, 1942 and died this past Sunday, July 2, 2007 at Sutter Lakeside Hospital.
She is survived by four daughters, Debbie Jones (Bill) of Ft. Bragg, Angela Hoth (David) of Post Falls, Iowa, Don Clay of Clearlake, Dale Copas (Phil) of Finley; one sister, Donna Murphy (Don) of Salida; and six grandchildren.
She was preceded in death by her husband, Charles Hughes, and parents, Doyne and Jewel Moore.
She was a member of the Historical Society of Lake County, Society for Creative Anachronism, Clear Lake order of the Eastern Star, and a graduate of Clear Lake High class of 1960 as Joyce May Moore.
Friends are invited to attend a graveside service 10 a.m. today, Friday, July 6 at Hartley Cemetery in Lakeport.
