LAKEPORT — Cross country time is just around the corner … and down the way a couple of miles.
The Clear Lake High School cross country team will hold its initial meeting for the upcoming 2007 season on Aug. 1 beginning at 5:30 p.m. at Renee”s Cafe, located at 10th and Main streets in Lakeport. It”s a chance to meet your coach, Peter Stanley, and your teammates. Runners and their parents are encouraged to take part.
If you”re looking to get stronger, fitter or just stay in a shape for a winter sport, cross country is the perfect way to do it.
Milkshakes will be available courtesy of the coach.
