CLEARLAKE – Clearlake police are looking for two suspects in a Monday shooting that took no victims but riddled a Clearlake home with bullets around 3:30 a.m.

A Clearlake Police Department (CPD) press release states that several residents in the 3900 block of Schultz Avenue reported gunshots, one of those callers being the resident of the home that took several bullets.

“At the time of the call there was no information available to officers regarding the suspect or suspects,” states the release.

Responding officers found a vehicle returning to the scene, then watched as it fled the scene and crashed into a tree nearby in the area of Valley and Mullen avenues. Both driver and passenger ran away on foot.

Inside the vehicle were two firearms used in the shooting, states the release.

No arrests have been made yet, and the investigation into the incident is ongoing. Anyone with information about it is encouraged to contact CPD Officer Tim Hobbs at 994-8251.
