Beverly “Bev” Jean Willsie, born June 30, 1944, passed away July 06, 2007 with her family close at her side in Lucerne, after a long battle with cancer. Her beloved sister Penny earned her wings on May 17, 2007. Penny will taker her sister”s hand and show her how Heaven works. Bev was born in Los Angeles and lived throughout California most of her life.
She was a loving wife to Milton Willsie for 24 years. Within that time, they loved to travel and accomplished many adventures. To know them together, they were “soul” mates and lived out a true touching love story.
Bev was also a loving mother to two sons, Kevin Robbins of Santa Rosa and Mark Robbins of Deming, NM; daughter Rhonda Oceguera of Santa Rosa, and stepson Dennis Daniels of Eureka. She was a wonderful “Gramee” and loved spending time with her grandchildren, Shae Oceguera and Vanessa Oceguera, both of Santa Rosa, Rikky Daniels of Loleta; and great-granddaughter Pyper Daniels of Loleta. They were all her “treasures” that made her life so complete.
Bev was an amazing friend to so many, who will miss her very deeply. Most of all we will miss her contagious laugh that preceded her as she entered the room. If you ever needed a loving shoulder or a true friend, she was there with no questions asked holding a loving smile. Bev will be missed by all whose lives she touched within her 63 years. We all loved her very much.
Beverly”s statement to all: “This is not goodbye, my darlings, just see you later.”
All are invited to attend Bev”s memorial service and celebration of life at 1 p.m. Sunday, July 29, 2007 at Lakeport Senior Center, 527 Konocti Ave., Lakeport.
In lieu of flowers or other remembrances, the family has requested donations be made to the UC Regents for Kiwanis at 4900 Broadway, Suite 1150, Sacramento, Ca 95820.
