I agree that Renato Hughes should be tried in the death of his two friends. What I do not agree with is that Shannon Edmonds get away scott free. If Renato Hughes is charged with “a felonious act likely to provoke lethal resistance” that resulted in his friends deaths then Shannon Edmonds should be charged with the assault on his girlfriends son. Shannon Edmonds was growing an illegal substance in his home where Dale Laferty, a minor, resided. Therefore, Shannon Edmonds, committed an illegal act that was likely to provoke criminal activity. The end result was a severely beaten minor and two dead men. Renato Hughes is not the only guilty party in this horrible crime.
