MIDDLETOWN — The Middletown Knights, an AAU basketball team comprised of 12- and 13-year-old boys, recently completed their season with a 13-3 record.
The Knights opened play in February and closed out their season earlier this month. They played in five tournaments, won twice, finished second once and third once.
In May, the Knights attended the 350-team Memorial Day Tournament in Reno. They won three out of four games, the only loss a two-point heartbreaker, and finished fifth overall in their 32-team division.
In their final tournament, the Sonoma County Shoot on July 14-15, the Knights came away with the championship.
The Knights open a new season in February.
