LAKE COUNTY ? Dental records confirmed the identity of a deceased man found near Corbin Creek July 21, according to a late Thursday press release from the Lake County Sheriff”s Office.
Owen Andrew Lampman, 55, was reported missing from his Clearlake Oaks home July 7, states the release. A person who was concerned about Lampman told the LCSO that he had not seen Lampman since June 25, when fire department personnel had responded to Lampman”s home for a structure fire.
His body was found in the creek bed of Corbin Creek near the Lake-Glenn county line, lying near a charred truck which was registered to Lampman.
The LCSO release states that an autopsy was ordered to determine the cause of death, and that the results are not yet available as the Record-Bee was going to press Thursday night.
