Arleta Lenore Walker, Age 78, passed away on Aug. 10, 2007 in Clearlake. Born April 29, 1929 in Arkansas, she was a Lake County resident for over 20 years.
Arleta is survived by her children, Lorna Jaime, Daniel Rickel, Sharon Hill, Karen Gordon, James Allen Walker, Kendra Boyce and Mary Helgeson; stepdaughters Ruth and Linda Walker; sister, Waneta Steward; 26 grandchildren and seven great-grandchildren.
She was preceded in death by her first husband, Elzie Leo Rickel; second husband, James Monroe Walker; daughter, Rebecca Ann Rickel,; stepson, Gary Ray Walker; brother, Kendal Sanders; sister, Neva Hacker; one grandchild and one great-grandchild.
Visiting hours will be held from 4 until 6 p.m. Wednesday, Aug. 15, 2007 at Jones and Lewis Clear Lake Memorial Chapel, 16140 Main St., Lower Lake. On Thursday, Aug. 16, 2007, a funeral service will be held at 11 a.m. at the First Assembly of God Church, at 40th and Snook Ave. in Clearlake. A committal service will follow at Lower Lake Cemetery in Lower Lake.
