LOWER LAKE — Lower Lake jumped out to a 2-0 lead but Geyserville battled back to tie the Trojans 2-2 in the season opener for both of these varsity boys” soccer teams Friday in Lower Lake.
The game also marked the coaching debut of first-year Lower Lake skipper Efrain Santana, who watched Rodrigo Alanis and Jesus Fonseca score first-half goals for a 2-0 lead.
Geyserville rallied with two goals in the first half to pull even at 2-2.
Lower Lake keeper Polo Bravo shut out the Bronchos in the second half to keep his team even.
Antonio Aceves and Cristobal Chapman assisted on Lower Lake”s goals.
The Trojans (0-0-1) are home again on Tuesday to play Point Arena at 4:30 p.m.
