HIDDEN VALLEY LAKE — Tom Gibbs fired a low net round of 32 in the first flight during 9ers Men”s Golf Club action on Aug. 30 at Hidden Valley Lake Golf Course.
Flight results were as follows:
First flight — Gibbs, 32; Rick Conrad, 33; Jim Wilson, 34.
Second flight — Doug Carter, 32; Bob Costello and Hal Weber, 33 (tie).
Third flight — Jim DeRosa, 32; Mason Butler, 35; Sterling Bright, 36.
Closest-to-the-pin winners were Conrad and Jay Hodges. Gibbs and Paul Bertlin had chip-ins.
In other 9ers new, the 2007 Match Play tournament continues. In the most recent round of results, Dave Hyder beat Joe Vallee to win the first flight; Byron Hoss beat Bill Surber to take the second flight; and Colin Wilson beat Don Morse in the third flight.
The flight winners will play Thursday to determine the overall champion.
