An ongoing investigation resulted in the arrest of Robert Enos, 49, of Clearlake. Enos allegedly kidnapped a 45 year-old Clearlake woman on Sept. 1, holding her against her will and threatening assault with a deadly weapon. The victim was reportedly released without signs of physical injury according to the Clearlake Police Dept.
A search warrant was issued and during the course of the search unidentified items of evidence related to the crime were located.
Enos was transported to the Lake County Jail where he was booked on charges of kidnapping, false imprisonment, terrorist threats and assault with a deadly weapon.
