UKIAH — The Bay Cities Racing Association DMS Race Products Midget series charges into the quarter-mile Ukiah Speedway tonight as the King of the Hill Challenge Series, split between the Ukiah and Lakeport speedways, concludes.
Point champions in the Late Models, bombers and bonus bombers divisions will be crowned by night”s end.
In the BCRA competiton, entries include 16-year-old points leader Justin Grant of Ione piloting his No. 30 Beast/Esslinger; reigning two-time BCRA champion John Sarale of Stockton driving his Sarale Farms No. 32 Beast/Riolo Chevy; seven-time BCRA champion Floyd Alvis in his No. 18 Champion Automotive Stealth/Van Dyne; Ralphie Cortez, currently third in the point standings, manning the wheel of his No. 31 Shores/Cortez Special Beast/Sesco-Mopar; and 19-year-old BCRA rookie Kevin Morris chauffeuring father Del”s No. 17k Beast/Esslinger.
Gates open at 4:30 p.m. and racing starts at 6:30 p.m.
