In regard to the recent Lakeport Post Office parking lot makeover, I wonder how many users have found the mailbox? Now it can only be used if you have a passenger in the car, reach over the front seat or stop the car and run around to it! In fact, I don”t think it is safe or legal to stop at all in the middle of this lane on 11th Street. Did the “plan” even consider one entrance and one exit as a convenient solution ? As the saying goes I hope this makeover isn”t “written in stone”. I really miss using this box that has an early pickup.
