FORT BRAGG — Jeremy Steele rushed for 97 yards and three touchdowns on Saturday as the varsity Kelseyville Chiefs beat Fort Bragg 28-6 in Pop Warner football action at Fort Bragg.
Jake Youngs added 71 yards rushing, a touchdown and a PAT run, and Geno Poloni rushed for 47 yards and a PAT as the Chiefs improved to 1-0-1. Devon Call had a two-point PAT kick.
Kelseyville leaders on defense were James Green with four tackles and Zack Holt, Dakota Velez, Nils Mostin and Zack Krohn with three apiece. Lane Bloom also registered his second sack in as many games.
Fort Bragg won the junior varsity game 33-13 and the Pee Wee game 23-6.
