I”m stunned is the best adjective I can come up with. Confused runs right behind it. Saddened is behind that one.
Why would a principal of an elementary school praise the students for their academic achievements by a cutting his hair into a Mohawk mocking an indigenous people of North America and then make fun of crossdressers by donning a dress and heels? Does he not realize he is teaching prejudice and hate?
I wonder if he thinks it would be OK to paint his face black, widen his lips and make fun? You know, like the good ol days? How about pretending to be disabled and making fun of that?
Oh I”ve got a good one. How about pretending to be blind and deaf? That should be real fun for next year. The kids should get a good laugh with that one!
Wake up, grow up, and allow your students to do the same.
