LAKEPORT — Apryl Comstock had seven kills and Briana Butcher served 11 points, four of them aces, as the Clear Lake High School junior varsity volleyball team beat Middletown 25-16, 25-16 in a North Central League I interlock match on Tuesday in Lakeport.
Rylie Gabehart added four kills and Hannah Hoffeditz had 12 assists for Clear Lake.
“They played great,” Clear Lake coach Julie Reynolds said. “They just showed great teamwork and were really talking out there.”
Clear Lake hosts Fort Bragg tonight at 5:30 p.m. The varsity match follows.
