LAKEPORT — Briana Butcher”s 15 kills powered the Clear Lake Cardinals to a come-from-behind 23-25, 25-16, 15-11 win over the Fort Bragg Timberwolves in a North Central League I interlock junior varsity volleyball match on Thursday in Lakeport.
“I think they needed that first game to wake up,” Clear Lake coach Julie Reynolds said.
Rylie Gabehart added seven kills and Apryl Comstock had five kills for the Cardinals. Hannah Hoffeditz added eight service points.
Reynolds also praised the strong passing of Kelsey Sterbank and Sarah Thompson.
“They had an excellent night,” Reynolds said of Sterbank and Thompson.
