UKIAH ? A collision occurred Saturday at 4:40 p.m. involving three vehicles in Ukiah, resulting in minor to moderate injuries.

A 1993 Toyota Minivan was traveling southbound on the east side of Potter Valley Road at the intersection with Highway 20, California Highway Patrol said.

For an unknown reason, the van, driven by Maria Macias, 60, of Kelseyville did not stop at the stop sign, according to CHP.

The van drove into the westbound lanes of Highway 20 where it collided with a 1987 BMW driven by Katherine Babcock, 21, of Ukiah.

The collision forced the BMW into the eastbound lanes of Highway 20 where it collided with a 1999 Infinity driven by Andrea Barcello, 41, of Ukiah. The infinity then collided with a mailbox, CHP said. The driver of the van was flown to Santa Rosa Memorial via air ambulance with moderate injuries. One passenger in the van, Michael Graham, 3, received no injuries.

One of the two passengers in the BMW, Darren Linnett, 50, of Ukiah, was flown to Santa Rosa Memorial with moderate injuries.

Babcock and the second passenger in the BMW, James Jones, 34, and Barcello were taken by ground ambulance to Ukiah Valley Medical Center with minor injuries. All parties involved were wearing seatbelts. Both directions of Highway 20 were closed for approximately 30 minutes for the Cal-Star and Reach Medical helicopters, according to CHP.
