LOWER LAKE — Clear Lake High School quarterback Ryan Richardson passed for 76 yards and two touchdowns as the Cardinals shut out the Lower Lake Trojans 54-0 in a North Central League I interlock junior varsity football game on Friday night in Lower Lake.
Kevin Burt anchored Clear Lake”s running game with 196 yards on 10 carries and two touchdowns, while Ryan Lunas added 47 yards on six carries with two TDs.
Jordan Mills and Seth Glazier caught the touchdown passes thrown by Richardson.
Jaime Lopez rushed for Clear Lake”s other score.
On defense, Lunas was in on 16 tackles to lead Clear Lake. Lance McCloud recovered a fumble and had an interception. Lopez also picked off a Lower Lake pass. Glazier, Vincent McIntosh, Tony Silva and Jared Ashworth all had sacks as the Cardnals improved to 5-1 on the season.
