COBB — Big Pines Campground is hosting Reggae in the Pines, Saturday, Oct. 27. at Loch Lomond. Bob and Pam Turney, owners of Big Pines Campground, are helping to raise money for Lake County programs, Catholic Charities and the rural food project.
Reggae DJ Lionize will open the event the reggae in the afternoon. The Whiskey Thieves Blues Band will perform at 6 p.m. Groundation, a reggae jazz-fusion band, will perform roots music on stage from 7 to 10 p.m.
Keith from City of Light Recording and Sound will be the soundman for this outdoor event, the second event at Big Pines Campground since it opened in July.

Those wishing to volunteer to help with set up and take down, ticket sales the day of the concert, directing crowds, facilitating parking, or picking up trash are asked to call Hedy Montoya at 987-8139.
Volunteer must be 18 and older and will receive free passes to the reggae festival.
