CALISTOGA ? The Record-Bee article published October 18 entitled “Water education event set” mistakenly gave the impression that the event is open to the general public. According to coordinator Ben Page of Calistoga Beverage Company, the event is limited to the elementary school students who were invited in the Calistoga area. Project Water Education for Teachers (WET), an international education program for K? 12 students, is hosting the event. It is designed to educate school children about such water-related topics as environmental stewardship and conservation. No additional sign-ups will be accepted.
