LAKEPORT — The grapes have been harvested and Lake County Vineyards are beginning to take on their fall colors of gold, yellow, reds, orange and bronze, all against a backdrop of muted grays and blues … an artists delight.
This also means a flurry of activity for the vintners as they perform their own kind of magic to produce some of those Lake County award winning wines.
In the same vein five well known Lake County artists have been busy performing their own kind of magic to give us their impressions of this special season of the year. These artists will share with us some of their completed works in a special “themed” show, “Lake County Vineyards and Wineries,” to be presented at the Main Street Gallery in Lakeport.
The show will hang in the now-designated Linda Carpenter Memorial Gallery (a part of Main Street Gallery) for the month of November. You can view these special renderings Nov. 1 through 29, and you can meet the artists at the popular Friday Night Fling, 5:30 to 7 p.m. Nov. 2, in the Main Street Gallery.
