Where is the leadership on Kelseyville issue?
Over that past few weeks, as the Kelseyville name and mascot issue has been discussed, I noticed that not one of the elected officials who represent the area ? from the Federal and State levels down to the local supervisor ? has not brought to light their views on the subject. It would be interested to know their views ? seeing how they have been put in a position of leadership for the community ? on a subject that has an impact on the voters they represent.
It seems that a well thought out compromise would bring the least amount of hard feelings from both sides of the issue, allowing an old wound to heal, rather then allowing hurts on both sides to continue into the future. For this reason, the community needs to call on the leadership to address these types of tough issues and bring equal fairness to solve the problem, in regards to this current one.
