FORT BRAGG — Kelsey Guzman banged out a team-best 15 kills and the Middletown Mustangs went on to beat the Fort Bragg Timberwolves 25-18, 25-22, 17-25, 25-19 in a North Central League I North varsity volleyball match at Fort Bragg.
Kayla Wood added 10 kills and Jessica Boylan had a pair of kills for the Mustangs, who improved to 4-2 in the North standings with two key matches remaining. Middletown closes out the regular season next week with road contests at Kelseyville (6-1) on Tuesday and at Lower Lake (5-1) on Thursday.
Fort Bragg won the JV match 25-14, 22-25, 15-7.
