PETALUMA — Camp For A Cure, a fundraiser for the American Cancer Society the Lupus Foundation of America, will hold a baseball camp for players ages 8-15 on Saturday at Casa Grande High School in Petaluma.
Since 2004, Camp For a Cure has raised $26,869.
This year”s camp staff is comprised of top local high school and college coaches, professional scouts, and professional players, including Jonny Gomes of the Tampa Bay Devil Rays, who played his high school ball in Petaluma; former Clear Lake High School player Paige Dumont; coach John Goelz (Sonoma State) and coach Damon Neidlinger (Santa Rosa Junior College).
