LAKEPORT — Steven Edwards had quite a game for the Kelseyville Chiefs on Saturday night against the Westshore Vikings at Clear Lake High School.
Edwards rushed for a team-high 96 yards, returned a punt 65 yards for a touchdown and completed a 23-yard touchdown pass to Dasan Vazquez as the Chiefs beat the Vikings 35-16 in a Pop Warner varsity football game.
Geno Poloni rushed for 71 yards and a touchdown as the Chiefs improved to 6-2-1 on the season. Mike Snider and Mike Bateman also rushed for scores, Poloni added two conversion runs and Jake Youngs, Zack Krohn and Nills Mostin also had conversion runs for Kelseyville.
Greg Fincher led the Kelseyville defense with six tackles and Zack Cocco had five. John Mark Reagan recovered a fumble.
Kelseyville hosts Lower Lake this Saturday at 7 p.m.
