Glory Days adult flag football league has started its 2007 season. Cities and towns from around the lake are represented in this year”s program.
Saturday, Nov. 17 action saw the Devil”s Aces spank Upper Lake in a shut out victory, 30-0. “Their offense and their defense are tough,” said league officer Taras Richardson. “The Devil”s Aces are looking good and they will probably be hard to beat.”
Although Prime Time is a team reportedly full of style and speed, they did not get to showcase their talent last weekend but they gained a win on a no-show by Kelseyville.
Reigning champion team, Clear Lake Cardinals enjoyed a by on Saturday. Although the team dropped its first game to the Devil”s Aces on Nov. 11, Richardson says the Cardinals are still the team to beat. “Don”t forget the Cardinals are the champions with quarterback MVP Adam Burch.”
