The Oak Hill Middle School social skills academy has been working to “Pay It Forward” after watching the film of the same name. On Thursday, Nov. 15, the students served lunch to Oak Hill instructors ? some of whom are shown at left in the buffet line. The food was donated by Foods, Etc., Ray”s Food Place and Safeway in Clearlake and the students also made table decorations. “You have to help three other people,” said Oak Hill student James Celestin Willis, explaining the message of the film. School counselor and academy instructor Tania Schraml said that the students have also donated toys for children in the Phillipines.
