LAKE COUNTY — The Christmas Basket Program, a collaborative effort between the Lake County Publishing, the Lakeport Rotary Club and area grocery stores kicked-off to a fabulous start.
Connie Morgan donated $20 to help families less fortunate for the holidays. The Vietnam Veterans of America, Lake County Chapter No. 951 generously gave $125 in memory of Terry Rose, Bob ?Cadillac” Groshong, Carl Von Rosenberg, Bill Buse and Dave Fesmire. Lakeport McDonalds contributed $100. Glen and Tonya Neasham wish recipients of the baskets happy holidays with a donation of $50. Kim Bojorques and Hilary Hass gave $75 in memory of Joe Arden and Bill Bojorques. A whopping $1,000 donation from Buzz and Gussie was given in memory of Jesse Macias.
For those wishing to contribute to the Christmas Basket Program, please send or bring your holiday contribution to any branch of Umpqua Bank and make checks payable to Lake County Christmas Fund.
