Dr. Charleen Steen seems more concerned with the safety of a violent child molester (Record-Bee, Nov. 28) than she does with our children”s safety. I do not condone the murder of this violent molester if that is what happened. I do appreciate the web site that alerted my family to the fact that two previous child molesters live very close to us.
They will never get close to our child thanks to web sites such as the ones you want outlawed. I do not know what the statistics are on how many child molesters go onto molest when released from prison; I do not know why they are released in the first place. Maybe we need a law that says: “when a child molester is released from prison with the help of his/her doctor/psychiatrist and goes on to molest another child, the doctor/psychiatrist should spend some time in jail as well.”
These web sites that you dislike are not designed to stop the child molesters from molesting again; they are designed to keep children safe from these people.
