ESPARTO — Briana Butcher”s 12 points led the way on Monday as the Clear Lake High School junior varsity girls” basketball team pulled away in the second half to beat Esparto 47-23 in a non-league game at Esparto.
Clear Lake (4-1) outscored Esparto 18-0 in the third quarter after entering halftime tied at 20.
Katie Reynolds added nine points and Jesse Sondag had six.
Clear Lake won its final two games in the Colusa Tournament to capture the consolation title. The Cardinals beat Sutter 34-24 on Friday and St. Helena 32-24 on Saturday.
Mori Jordan and Megan McDonald were named to the All-Tournament team.
