MENDOCINO COUNTY — A Kelseyville woman was arrested Thursday for driving under the influence after causing a head-on collision with a Fort Bragg resident, according to a report from the Ukiah Area California Highway Patrol.

The report says Kelseyville resident Natalie Reed, 27, was driving a 1999 Volvo east on Highway 20 just west of the Lake-Mendocino county line. Reed crossed into the opposing lane “due to (her) intoxicated state,” according to the report. She hit Fort Bragg resident Luis Miranda, 55, head-on. Miranda was driving a 1975 Ford. Both drivers were transported to the Ukiah Valley Medical Center, where Miranda was admitted for treatment of major injuries. Reed was booked into the Mendocino County Jail. The investigation is ongoing.
