Holiday performances of “The Nutcracker” take place at 7 p.m. Friday, Dec. 21, and 1 and 7 p.m. Saturday, Dec. 22, in the Coyote Valley Elementary School multi-purpose room. At right, during the Christmas in Middletown open house at the Community Arts Academy, volunteers sewed appliqu?s on tutus to be used in its inaugural performance. Tickets are $17 for adults and $10 for children (ages 3 and younger admitted free). For an additional cost, you can also attend a reception after Friday evening”s performance and a Sugar Plum Party after the Saturday matinee. For more information, please call 987-8230.
