KELSEYVILLE — The 36th annual Stokes Invitational Basketball Tournament tips off today at 9 a.m. with a first-round girls” game between South Fork and St. Helena at the Kelseyville High School gym.
The 16-team tournament ? eight varsity girls” squads and eight varsity boys” squads ? runs through Saturday. Eight games are played each of the three days of the tournament.
In opening-round action in the girls” bracket, South Fork and St. Helena kick things off. Hoopa and Middletown play at noon, St. Bernard and Half Moon Bay meet at 3 p.m., and host Kelseyville takes on Ferndale at 6 p.m.
In opening-round boys” action, Valley Christian squares off against St. Vin-cent at 10:30 a.m., El Molino plays Ferndale at 1:30 p.m., Healdsburg takes on Burton at 4:30 p.m., and the host Kelseyville boys, off to a 7-2 start this season, play Leadership at 7:30 p.m.
The first game each day begins at 9 a.m.
