MIDDLETOWN — A rollover accident Friday afternoon resulted in the arrest of a Middletown woman on a charge of driving under the influence.
Rebecca Eickhoff, 47, suffered minor injuries after she failed to negotiate a curve in the road, according to a Friday California Highway Patrol press release. Eickhoff was driving a 2001 Chrysler PT Cruiser southbound on Highway 29 south of Spruce Grove Road, just south of Lower Lake, according to the release.
Eickhoff struck an embankment, causing the Cruiser to roll onto its left side blocking northbound traffic. One-way traffic control was in effect for approximately an hour after the 1:25 p.m. accident, according to the release. Eickhoff”s injuries did not require medical transport. Eickhoff was booked and released at the Lake County Jail Friday night.
