CLEARLAKE OAKS — During 2007, the Lake County Sheriff”s responded to a Lakeland Street address on 23 different occasions and to an Ebb Tide Village address on 28 occasions.

Lake County community recovery unit arrested five people at two separate locations in Clearlake Oaks, according to a Lake County Sheriff”s Department press release.

Lacey Blesio, 25, was arrested on charges of possession of drug paraphernalia and being under the influence of a controlled substance. Anthony Pierce, 25, was arrested on charges of possession of drug paraphernalia, possession of a controlled substance, destruction or concealment of evidence and bringing a controlled substance into a correctional facility.

Investigating Sergeant Brian Martin said last Wednesday that Sgt. Chris Chwialkowski and Deputy Rich Ward, members of the community recovery unit, along with deputies John Gregore and Joe Dutra, went to the home of Blesio and Pierce on Lakeland Street.

When they arrived, deputies contacted Blesio, who is currently on probation, and Pierce inside the home. Two large dogs were in the house and Pierce brought them to a back bedroom to secure them. While in the bedroom, Pierce threw some drug paraphernalia out the window. The drug paraphernalia was found and Pierce was arrested. During a search of Pierce”s body, he was found to be in possession of what Chwialkowski recognized as methamphetamine.

Ward detected a chemical odor inside the home. He determined the smell was freshly smoked methamphetamine. Blesio was determined to be under the influence of a controlled substance.

Blesio and Pierce were booked at the Lake County Jail. During a booking search, a small amount of marijuana was found in Pierce”s possession, which led to an additional charge of bringing controlled substance into a correctional facility.

In a separate incident, April Johnson, 28, was arrested on charges of possession of a controlled substance, destruction or concealment of evidence, trespassing, unlawful removal of lawful notification and delaying or resisting a peace officer

Kelin Davis, 33, of Vallejo was arrested on a charge of trespassing and Prentice Thompson, 38, of Oakland was arrested on charges of trespassing with an additional charge of delaying or resisting a peace officer.

On Thursday night Chwialkowski and Ward responded to a home in Ebb Tide Village. Lake County Code Enforcement Officer Allison Garrett informed them that a home on the street had been served with a ?Notice of Nuisance” also referred to as a ?Red Tag” on Dec. 18.

The home was tagged because it was uninhabitable. There is no water service to the home. When water service is absent, use of the home becomes unlawful because a county code requires a means for disposal of sewage. Any home lacking methods of sewage disposal poses health and safety problems for anyone who in the home and its neighbors.

Ward and Chwialkowski knocked on the door to the home. The notice was removed from the home. The man inside refused to open the door and refused to come out.

Deputies forced entry and found homeowner Johnson, along with Davis and Thompson inside. Johnson admitted she removed the notice and did not have water service. She said she was going to pay the bill the next day. During the investigation, deputies think Johnson attempted to dispose of drugs. Ward found a small amount of what appeared to be cocaine. Johnson, Davis and Thompson were consequently arrested.
