Will a Log Cabin chapter come to Lake County?
Are there any gay Republicans in Lake County? And if they exist, would they be acknowledged? It appears when confronted with anything remotely gay, the leaders of the GOP turn to someone like Mr. Vaughn from Sacramento who seems unaware of the thriving Lake County Stonewall Democratic Club sponsored, chartered and supported by the Lake County Democratic Central Committee.
Now would be a great opportunity for the Lake County GOP to show their tolerance and respect for diversity by initiationing the Log Cabin Republican, Lake County branch. I”m sure Mr. Vaughn would co-operate. And the Stonewall Club would welcome kindred spirits with enthusiasm and pleasure. I am certain that we would find more similarities than differences, and maybe at the same time heal some of the divisiveness and polarization rampant in our County at the present.
